TRUNK-OR-TREAT
Please join us tonight, Friday, October 25th, in the Penn Avenue Parking Lot from 5:00 - 7:00pm for TRUNK-OR-TREATING! Everyone is welcome to come in their finest Halloween attire and costumes and trick-or-treat from trunk to trunk.
REMINDER: In order to raise money for the mission and to cover the cost of the activities for the Mission Party, we are asking every family to make a donation of $5.00 per child by October 30th. Please send the money to your child's homeroom teacher. All money raised this year will support the Providence Center in North Philadelphia. WATCH a short video to learn more!

CAMP OUT FOR HUNGER
HCA is participating in "Camp Out for Hunger" led by our Pre-K and Kindergarten students.
We are collecting nonperishable food items,as well as, both wet and dry cat and dog food. Donation boxes will be placed in homerooms, in the lobby, and in the cafeteria. Items will be collected through October 31.
Help us help those in need!
EIGHTH GRADE FUNDRAISER
Each year the eighth grade holds a fall fundraising event. This year they will be selling Yankee Candle Christmas and Holiday items. The money raised through this sale helps to offset the cost of the annual eighth grade Washington D.C. trip which traditionally is scheduled the last week in May.
A Yankee Candle brochure will be sent home with the oldest child in each HCA family on Friday, October 25. The deadline for the submission of orders and payment is Friday, November 8 and the orders will arrive at school the week of December 9th. Please let us know if you have any questions!
